Why My Sound Baths Are Unique

There’s something magical about a sound bath—but not all sound baths are created equal.

At Peaceful Wellness, whether online or in-person at the Madison studio, I design every session with sacred intention, thematic focus, and deep care. My sound baths aren’t just about listening to pretty tones. They’re about creating an immersive healing experience that meets you where you are—and helps you gently return to yourself.

The Power of Ritual and Theme

Each sound bath has a theme aligned with the energy of the season, the needs of the community, or what’s happening collectively in the world. I use sound as medicine, weaving together instruments, intention, meditation, and healing energy to support emotional, energetic, and spiritual transformation.

Unlike many sound bath facilitators who may simply gather a few instruments and start playing without clear intention, I approach each session as a sacred experience. Every element—sound, scent, rhythm, and rest—is thoughtfully chosen and sequenced.

For instance, during our recent Reiki Sound Bath on the Heart and Crown Chakras, we began with a Rose Blessing Ritual with rose petals and rose mist, inviting softness, love, and connection before the first bowl was even played. These small but meaningful moments create a deeper energetic container for healing.

What You Can Expect Whether you attend online or in-person, each sound bath includes:

• A welcoming, grounded space

• Guided meditation or breathwork to prepare your body and mind

• A carefully curated sound journey with crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, monochord, drums, and more

• Themed intention to guide and deepen the experience

• Aromatherapy, crystals, steam eye masks, eye pillows and other props, and seasonal touches (in-studio)

• A gentle closing reflection or ritual to integrate the healing

Private Sound Baths vs. Sound Healing on the Table

You can also book a private sound bath session, either online or at the studio. These sessions are customized just for you. You set an intention—whether it’s to find calm, process emotions, gain clarity, or support healing—and I build a sound journey tailored to that need.

Or, go even deeper with Sound Healing on the Massage Table. These sessions are conducted with you lying on a massage table while I play bowls all around and beneath the table, especially using Tibetan bowls. The vibration penetrates more directly through your physical and energetic body, offering a profound sense of release, reset, and renewal. It’s especially helpful for nervous system support, trauma release, and those who need deep rest.

A Personal Story

I remember one woman who came in visibly stressed, her shoulders tight, her breath shallow. By the end, she was in tears—not from sadness, but from finally feeling safe enough to let go. That’s the medicine of sound. It holds space for what words cannot. It meets us in places we didn’t know we needed to be held.

Behind the Scenes: How I Create Each Session

I don’t just walk in and play bowls. I attune to the energy of the moment—the season, current topics, chakras, what I sense people need most, and often what’s moving through me personally. I design each session with intuition and heart, making sure every bowl, bell, or breath supports the overall healing journey.

The Power of Themed Sound Baths

When a session’s theme—like “Rooted in Resilience” or “Opening to Love & Divine Connection”—matches what someone is moving through emotionally or spiritually, it can feel like coming home. The sounds become more than just vibration; they become validation, resonance, and release.

What People Say

“It was like a massage for my soul—exactly what I didn’t know I needed.”

At Peaceful Wellness, sound isn’t background noise—it’s sacred care.

Come experience the difference.
